Membership is the driving force of the AKGA. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, the AKGA is member-run and member-centered. Dues are collected annually in January and paid members make decisions on the direction and future of the organization. As a member-run organization, the AKGA is able to provide registration services for less than other registries. AKGA registrations are universally accepted for registry transfer because all New Zealand and American purebreds are DNA verified back to when DNA became a thing.
The AKGA Board realizes that the past few years have been challenging for many of our members and inflation has been draining. Therefore, to help lighten the load, the board voted to reduce renewal fees by 50% if they are received by January 31, 2024. You can mail in a check right now with the form, but please note that the webpage is not updated to the $25 price yet!!! Also note that registration fees for AKGA have not been raised for several years, although costs to the AKGA have done so. Again, a benefit of a member-run organization.
So pay your 2025 membership dues by January 31, 2025, for only $25!
